Photo Dump_Paris and Mechlen Belgium

From Temp
The photos are few and present an incomplete collection of the experience through the European countries I have already passed through.

My battery charger is in Oslo, Norway which I am soon to depart to, as I write in the Amstersam international airport. Hopefully I can produce more photos for the remainder of the trip.

Last night was spent in Amsterdam's famous Redlight District. It proved to be an incredible opportunity to reflect and contemplate what I am doing with this trip and with my so-called adventures. I've realized my responsibilities in the world and my explorations are intimately intertwined with it. As far as the "Redlight District" goes, I can't say that I feel it is a benificial place for folks to visit, now that I have been there. If it ever was a place of positive alternative social behaivior, it isn't so today. Amsterdam is an industry.

...lots of people, lots of cars, lots of businesses...lots of poverty.

The morning of arrival in Paris, France.
You can almost feel the terrible fatigue I am experiencin when this photo was taken.

Paris France, Day One

From Paris day1

The one thing that blew me away were the amount of bicycles and motorcycles in this city. Belgium had more than Paris and Amsterdam even more still! I mean we're talking an ocean of bicycles parked on multi-story parking lots.
The motorbikes- majority being larger scooters- are parked right on the sidewalks.
