And only with a very strong Push from Sahr har, frar arhg.
I mean, she might have been seconds away from physically kicking me out of the house to ride.
...If I don't get it together, she may ground me from using the KLR for an undetermined amount of time!
Just look at that smile.
Starting at Cow Alley, May Valley in Idyllwild, Marmu-tron and I proceeded to connect the flowy trails characteristic of this mountain
range into the uber loose and steep chute of Satin's Gut.
Very, very loose this summer.
It was nice to be on the bike.
The time off was noticed. But things went quite smoothly I think.
Quite natural actually.
While riding, the ideas channelled effortlessly where the KLR bike rack is concerned. Engineering this contraption alone is so exciting! Wind turbulence and overall stability is a major factor in this. The structural integrity of this rack, and the safety of the bike attached to it will have to meet the demands of not only the high-speeds of the high way but the rough abuse of the off roads in AZ.
And then, then I get to TIG weld it. ..at least I'll try to.
Taking another rest before the final climb back into May Valley
I think the brew here is Cafe Bravo of Temecula. Tasty roast every time, even when the barista's not a happy camper, which seems to be every time too.
Good luck to you, mate.
Let's just say I'm "back" and see what happens, huh?
Sound good?
I really like the last 2 pix. The very last one, it looks like Marmu followed the trend of getting her tongue pierced. lol Sounds like you are having lots of fun on the KLR. ^_^
ReplyDeleteMan, you sure do know how to have fun. Best blog on two wheels by the way. Keep it on, keepin' on!
