(Thanks to Chad for posting about this, otherwise I would have totally forgoten...so needed with all the stuff I going on!)
Looks like this year will be a 1,000 mile finish in Nome, Alaska...which 9 of the 38 cyclists hope to accomplish. Jill Homer, a rider from Alaska whose blog I have come to enjoy reading, will be competing in the 350 mile distance to McGrath.
The Famous Iditarod Sled Race will begin on March 7th.
It is a dream of mine to ride the Iditabike Trail Invitational, one day. I suppose when I'm a little older and have done other things on the pile of lists I seem to accumulate, it may become so.
