Event Op: MtnBike Moto Tour_Rally of the Dead

Taking the link on the right side of the page, I discovered on Rocky Mountain Flyer, this very interesting Stage Race.

Singlespeed.
Multi-day stage event.
Durango, Colorado.
October 23rd

Unfortunately it has been 'discontinued until further notice'. Though I couldn't figure out exactly why, I suspect it may have gotten too big. Hitting up this event may work out if I time it right; if it were to be risen from its hallowed grave ofcourse. Some of the boys at AAB might be up for it as well. Certainly SSManiac would show his intrigue.

This year the event began with a "Tour de Mort", some sort of ride through a cemetery. Following that was a haunting Costume-Ball of sorts and film party. The stages continued with a monster downhill one day, a SS XC endurance race the next, Freeride stage then followed, and bike polo to finish it up. All for an entry fee of $6.66, along with beer and various kinds of smoke.

I am very intrigued.
