My Westward Dragger_Preview of Days One and Two

Day One_Friday, 21November- Flagstaff to Grand Canyon NP

Day Two_Saturday, 22 November- Steak past The Painted Desert into Utah and Zion NP.

Cameron, Navajo Nation

4.3 miles to Page...and out of fuel.

Kung Fu Fighting

Zion NP

The ride has been epic in every fashion and already full of surprises! From a freezing cold first night's bivaouc, to running out of fuel in the middle of the painted desert and floating past the heavenly kingdom of Zion. What an amazing journey.

It is now Day Three and I must make it to Death Valley tonight through the Nevada desert, taking the roads north of Las Vegas. I will update my journal with details of the adventure so far, in Bishop, CA where I intend on camping at some hotsprings a little further north. This should be on Monday evening.

Track me on SPoT! Take the link on the right side of the page.

  1. Ha!! You're so goofy. How'd you run out of fuel, Mr. I-Know-My-Bike-Like-the-Back-of-My-Hand?? And more importantly, how'd you get out of that one? Silly. I wish I were there! It looks amazing.

    Hugs!

  2. Zion looks amazing. I'm starting to feel like I'm being infected with your wanderlust. Did someone stop to help you out when you ran out of gas?
