Saturday, March 4, 2007. 80 miles into headwinds and choking, blinding sand. A failed attempt to log 200 miles of quality road time and following bro' time wit the boys at Adams Ave.
The disappointment. The time lost. The Horror. The Horror.

All made up for on the following day with David See. I'm talkin about top o' Pine Cove, Idylwild, down to Slaughter House, into Hemet, then up Rause Ridge. Rause F***ing Ridge. And Dave rocks a 17. A seventeen. No, I don't think he'll be doin' that again. Then we walk up to Thomas Mountain and descend for his most wonderful wife to rescue us. Did I just make it sound like we got our ASSES SPANKED? It's cause we did. Asses spanked. Not each other's. The mountain. I'm just going to stop now. So, the plan was to descend Ramona. We actually just ran out of time. Really. I'm going back this weekend. Saturday. The Yeti. 20 tooth. Yes, it's that steep. Northwest Single Speed Championships??....HHHMMMMMMMM
Total Ascent: 6,500 ft
Total Descent: 8,393 ft
Approx: 7.5 hours total trip time. This was my first time on it too, Dave.
